An opportunity is available for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join a highly regarded nursing home in the Northwich, Cheshire area. The employer is part of a well-established UK healthcare group.

The home offers a broad range of services, including nursing care, dementia support, residential accommodation, respite and short-stay placements, and end-of-life care.

Eligibility

Applicants must hold a valid Registered Nurse qualification and an active NMC Pin to be considered.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out accurate resident assessments and determine the most urgent care priorities.
• Give medications and treatments in line with NMC standards and the organisation’s medicines policy.
• Develop, update, and maintain care plans together with residents, relatives, and relevant healthcare professionals.
• Identify changes in residents’ health and arrange GP or other professional reviews when needed.

Preferred experience and attributes

• Previous experience in a care environment is desirable.
• Strong organisational and leadership abilities are important for the role.
• A collaborative approach and willingness to work well within a team are essential.
• A consistently positive, proactive attitude will be an advantage.

Pay and working pattern

The pay rate is GBP22.50 per hour, which works out at up to GBP56,160 annually. There are permanent positions available on either day shifts or night shifts.
