Role overview
We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to lead sales activity across an assigned territory and help grow revenue for the business. This role sits at the center of the sales function, combining team leadership, strategic planning, customer relationship management, and market expansion.
What you will do
- Create and execute a regional sales plan that supports overall company objectives.
- Spot emerging market opportunities, customer requirements, and regional trends.
- Work with senior leadership to define practical sales goals and performance targets.
- Build and protect long-term relationships with important customers and business partners.
- Respond quickly and professionally to customer questions, concerns, and escalations.
- Track regional sales results and review performance data on a regular basis.
- Prepare accurate sales updates, forecasts, and market insights for management.
- Design corrective plans to close performance gaps and capture new growth opportunities.
- Explore untapped territories, channels, and business prospects.
- Partner with marketing and product teams to support market penetration efforts.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry functions, and networking events to strengthen visibility.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a closely related discipline.
- Prior experience in sales management or a comparable position within the supply chain sector.
- Evidence of consistently meeting and surpassing sales goals.
- Strong people leadership and team coordination abilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Comfort working with sales data and turning insights into action.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and sales tools.
- Willingness to travel across the assigned region when needed.
