Job description

Role overview

Envalior is hiring a Regional Product Manager to help accelerate business growth and improve commercial performance across the Americas. This role focuses on expanding and converting the pipeline, strengthening margin control, and leading initiatives such as portfolio optimization and non-prime stock management.

The position works across commercial, technical, and operational areas and supports several product lines. You will partner with business line leaders, regional R&T managers, and regional/global commercial leadership to turn global direction into regional action.

This is a decision-making role with authority over price approvals, portfolio steering, and working capital decisions related to non-prime stock. The scope covers both North and Latin America, with responsibility for helping shape regional priorities and delivering measurable business impact.

Key responsibilities

  • Improve profit margins through pricing actions and cost-control measures, including setting minimum and target prices and approving commercial pricing.
  • Review financial results and market movements to find ways to strengthen margins.
  • Lead efforts to grow the commercial pipeline and convert opportunities into business.
  • Support commercialization activities for business and product development programs.
  • Manage the product portfolio through periodic reviews, lifecycle decisions, and portfolio simplification where needed.
  • Drive regional product development work for N2/N3 markets and coordinate execution with cross-functional teams.
  • Convert global product-line strategy into practical regional and segment-level plans.
  • Adapt strategies to local market conditions and regulatory needs.
  • Gather and interpret competitor intelligence to identify risks, strengths, and market openings.
  • Use competitive insights to improve positioning and differentiation.
  • Support cost-reduction efforts and initiatives that improve P&L performance.
  • Help manage operational working capital by optimizing inventory, stock mix, and regional stock tactics.
  • Support non-prime stock handling and maintain availability of preferred grades for customers.
  • Build regional product and process knowledge through learning activities, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate has a strong technical and commercial background, can work across multiple disciplines, and is comfortable influencing stakeholders in a complex, matrixed environment. The role calls for someone who can balance regional sales needs with broader profitability goals while acting as a trusted challenger and advisor.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a relevant technical field such as Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Business, or Technical Marketing.
  • About 8 years or more of experience in sales, product development, R&D, or marketing within a B2B industrial setting.
  • Strong command of English.
  • Ability to operate across commercial, technical, and operational dimensions while supporting multiple product lines.
  • Experience with pricing decisions, portfolio management, and working capital or non-prime stock topics.
  • Comfort working with a wide stakeholder network, including business leaders, commercial leaders, and regional R&T managers.
  • Deep understanding of specialty materials, market dynamics, customer requirements, and the competitive environment.
  • Practical knowledge of commercial deal-making, product positioning, and pricing approaches in regional markets.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to evaluate project attractiveness and likelihood of success.
  • Ability to tap into regional industry networks for market insight.
  • Track record of mobilizing cross-functional teams and driving execution.
  • Reliable, credible, and effective in working with senior commercial leadership.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to represent the region in strategic discussions.

Benefits

  • Competitive pay, including a global bonus program and performance-based bonuses.
  • A broad benefits package covering retirement, health support, life insurance, and medical care.
  • Support for work-life balance and flexible scheduling where possible.
  • Training, coaching, and mentoring to support ongoing professional growth.
  • An inclusive workplace that values diversity, belonging, openness, and respect.
