About the Job

Grove Point Marinas is looking for a dynamic Regional Manager to oversee multiple marina locations across New England. The ideal candidate will reside in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, or Vermont. This role offers a flexible work arrangement, with approximately 70% of the time dedicated to remote work and 30% allocated for on-site travel to various properties.

About the Company

Grove Point Marinas is a fast-growing entity in the marina sector, backed by private equity. We specialize in acquiring, enhancing, and managing premium marine properties by integrating robust investment strategies with exceptional operational execution. Our platform is expanding rapidly, and we are committed to assembling a top-tier team to fuel this growth.

About the Role

The Regional Manager will be instrumental in optimizing the administrative functions of our marinas. Key responsibilities include managing revenue streams, overseeing capital expenditure projects, leading recruitment and staff development initiatives, providing departmental supervision, controlling operational costs, ensuring superior customer service, and managing contracts. Additionally, the role involves guiding budget creation and financial forecasting, managing inventory, setting pricing strategies, and monitoring the cost of goods sold (COGS). A critical aspect of this position is establishing and implementing consistent standard operating procedures, key performance indicators (KPIs), and tracking mechanisms across all managed properties. The Regional Manager will hold ultimate accountability for the success of their assigned portfolio, encompassing areas such as storage revenue, service operations, fuel sales, boat rentals, cabin/condo rentals, and retail activities.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience within the marina industry, with at least 1-2 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational capabilities.
  • Proficiency in training and developing staff through effective coaching methodologies.
  • A hands-on leadership approach, capable of motivating teams and ensuring seamless operational flow.

If you possess a strong passion for the marina industry and the requisite skills to lead a high-performing team, we encourage you to apply for this compelling opportunity.

Leave it if you'd like a reply — we won't use it for anything else.
