Regional General Manager

Role overview

Sunline Group is looking for a Regional General Manager to oversee landscape, irrigation, tree care, and broader outdoor services across South Florida East Coast markets. This is a highly practical, field-based leadership position suited to someone with a strong background in commercial landscaping operations, team leadership, job profitability, safety, and financial management.

The base compensation for this role is $150,000, plus a performance-based bonus. The preferred candidate will have worked with large commercial landscape platforms, regional service companies, tree care providers, or similar outdoor services businesses.

What you'll oversee

• Direct day-to-day activity across assigned markets, covering landscape maintenance, irrigation, tree care, enhancements, and related outdoor service work.
• Supervise field leaders, crews, support personnel, equipment, schedules, service delivery, safety practices, and customer commitments.
• Improve operational results by lifting labor efficiency, route planning, scheduling, job margins, equipment use, and execution quality.
• Plan staffing around workload, contract obligations, backlog, overtime, productivity, equipment readiness, and revenue needs.
• Work closely with leadership, sales, HR, and finance teams to support retention, growth, workforce planning, and profitability.
• Act as a senior point of contact for customers, crews, and operational escalations.
• Help bring acquired businesses into Sunline’s standards, systems, reporting structure, and performance expectations.
• Promote a safety-first environment and ensure compliance with company, customer, and local, state, and federal rules.

What the role requires

• At least 7 years of experience in landscaping, irrigation, tree care, vegetation management, outdoor services, public works, utilities, or a closely related industry.
• Background as a General Manager, Regional Manager, Branch Manager, Operations Manager, Director of Operations, or another senior field operations leader.
• Strong working knowledge of commercial landscaping operations, crew productivity, job costing, scheduling, safety, service quality, fleet and equipment utilization, and labor planning.
• Proven ability to manage field-based teams and multiple crews.
• Hands-on experience with profit and loss ownership, including revenue, labor, expenses, margins, budgets, and operational KPIs.
• Tree care and/or irrigation exposure is strongly preferred.
• Experience serving municipal, HOA, commercial, property management, or public-sector clients is a plus.
• A valid driver’s license is required, along with the ability to travel regularly between Fort Myers, Palm Beach, and nearby markets.
• Bilingual English and Spanish skills are strongly preferred.

Compensation

This position offers a $150,000 base salary, along with a performance bonus.

Additional information

This is a full-time, onsite leadership role based in West Palm Beach, Florida. The work involves regular travel across South Florida East Coast markets, including Fort Myers, Palm Beach, and surrounding areas.

The role is focused on operational leadership rather than office-only management, with direct involvement in field execution, staffing, service quality, safety, and financial performance.
