Job description
About the Company
Re.Group is an Australia-owned organisation that develops solutions for recycling and recovering resources from waste. Its purpose is to help build a society with no waste, where materials are reused instead of being discarded.
The company places strong emphasis on making a positive difference in the community and works alongside charities, private organisations, and government bodies to support local areas.
About the Role
This position is based in a Material Recovery Facility (MRF), which functions as a recycling plant. In this environment, recycling bins are received and the contents are sorted so materials can be recovered and turned into paper, glass, reusable plastic, and metal.
Key Responsibilities
- Separate recyclable items from a moving conveyor line.
- Remove unwanted waste to help protect plant machinery and maintain product quality.
- Inspect incoming materials and place them into the correct area based on category, size, condition, or colour.
- Notify management right away if any system issues arise.
Additional Information
Candidates interested in a role that contributes positively to the environment are encouraged to submit their resume.
