Role Overview
This is a full-time, on-site Recruitment Specialist position based in Al Khobar. The role focuses on managing the complete hiring cycle, from identifying candidates and reviewing applications to conducting first-round interviews and coordinating discussions with hiring managers. The specialist will build and maintain talent pipelines for sales, merchandising, and operational positions to keep hiring aligned with active project needs.
Key Responsibilities
The position involves creating job descriptions, publishing vacancies, checking references, and handling offer and onboarding steps. The Recruitment Specialist will work closely with leadership to understand staffing requirements, support training coordination for new joiners, and help deliver a smooth, professional candidate journey that reflects HGC’s values and culture.
Qualifications
Applicants should bring solid experience in recruitment and hiring across the full lifecycle, along with strong interviewing and assessment abilities to judge both capability and fit fairly. Clear written and spoken communication is essential, as the role requires regular interaction across all levels of the business. Experience supporting onboarding or training activities is also important.
Additional Requirements
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, recruitment tools, and job boards is expected. The role calls for someone who can manage several open positions at once in a busy, field-driven environment, while staying highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to inclusive hiring practices. A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred, though equivalent relevant experience is also acceptable. Prior recruitment experience in sales, merchandising, or FMCG/retail within the GCC region is a plus. English fluency is required, and Arabic language skills are an advantage.
