The organization is currently hiring a Recruitment Lead to cover a 7-month maternity leave period.

Role Overview

This is a fully remote position. You will work closely with the Human Resources team and report directly to the VP of HR. The standard business hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Key Duties

  • Manage end-to-end hiring for a broad range of roles, including internal, contract, corporate, operations, and executive vacancies.
  • Work in partnership with hiring managers to clarify staffing needs, provide recruitment guidance, and support candidate selection decisions.
  • Oversee and improve the recruitment budget, track sourcing costs, maintain records, and coordinate with accounting each month for invoices and receipts.
  • Prepare monthly recruitment reports that surface trends, improvement opportunities, and market insights.
  • Stay informed on labor market conditions, candidate expectations, and emerging hiring trends.
  • Maintain strong relationships with external partners while ensuring compliance with hiring laws and internal policies.

Candidate Profile

  • 3 to 5 years of recruiting experience across a wide range of positions, from entry level through executive level.
  • Prior agency recruitment experience is required, ideally in permanent placement.
  • Post-secondary education in human resources is required.
  • Experience using MS Office and applicant tracking systems.
  • Comfortable advising senior leaders and executives on a regular basis.
  • Strong customer service mindset, ability to work independently, and skill in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Excellent organizational ability and comfort serving as a central communication point across departments.

Interview Process

  • 20-minute introductory phone interview with the recruiter.
  • 20 to 40-minute assessment, depending on optional practice questions or breaks.
  • 30-minute Microsoft Teams interview with the hiring manager and direct supervisor.
