Job description
Role overview
STR Group is hiring a Recruitment Consultant in Portsmouth. This position offers a base salary of £25,000, with the potential to rise to £26,000–£27,000 after successful completion of the Training Academy and delivery of targets.
To support the first stages of the role, new joiners receive a commission accelerator worth up to £1,500, paid across the first six months. This is intended to help build pipeline strength and develop market knowledge while you settle in.
The first-year on-target earnings are set at £35,000. For year two, expected earnings are £50,000–£70,000, and by year three this can increase to £80,000–£100,000+.
This opportunity is aimed at people who are ambitious, competitive, and motivated by sales and progression. You may already work in recruitment, or you may be moving across from a sales-focused role. In either case, full support is provided from day one through an award-winning Training Academy designed to give you structure and the tools needed to succeed.
The role involves working with US-based clients while based in a UK office, making it an international-facing position. Because of the time zone and market coverage, the working pattern is a four-day week from 11:00am to 8:30pm.

The standard schedule for this role is four days per week, with working hours from 11:00am to 8:30pm.
