Role overview
Global Professional Consultants is looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join its Sandyford team in South County Dublin. The business is a specialist recruitment firm with more than 25 years of experience working across Ireland, the UK, and international markets.
This opportunity is designed for a driven, self-assured professional who enjoys working in a busy, performance-focused setting. It is especially suitable for someone with a background in recruitment, sales, or business development who wants to build and manage their own desk while working within an established brand and strong client network.
What you'll do
- Handle the end-to-end recruitment process, from taking the client brief through to successful placement.
- Maintain and grow relationships with current clients while also opening up new business opportunities.
- Search for candidates, carry out interviews, and guide applicants through each stage of hiring.
- Draft clear job specifications for client vacancies.
- Partner with senior consultants and management to make the most of available opportunities.
Requirements
- A degree is preferred, though equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
- Prior experience in recruitment, sales, account management, or business development.
- Good commercial judgment and the ability to build strong professional relationships.
- Clear and confident communication style, with a proactive mindset.
- Ambitious, self-driven, and comfortable working to targets.
- Excellent organisation and strong attention to detail.
- A strong sense of urgency and the ability to act quickly.
Pay and benefits
- Attractive base pay with uncapped commission, with total earnings expected to fall around €40k to €60k+.
