Job description
About the role
MPI Recruitment is looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join its Workforce team in Perth. This role suits either an experienced recruiter ready for the next stage in their career, or a motivated person wanting to enter the recruitment industry in a busy, fast-moving environment.
Founded in 1995, the business has built a strong reputation in workforce, technical, and executive search recruitment across Australia’s mining, resources, and related sectors. The team is made up of people with real industry experience, including the founders, who remain actively involved in the day-to-day operation of the business.
The position is focused on blue-collar hiring across a broad mining client base. You will be expected to work at pace, manage existing accounts, and support internal business development teams with targeting new clients. The role is designed for someone who can handle a high volume of placements while maintaining strong client relationships.
Compensation and benefits
- Annual salary of $80,000, plus a highly rewarding and accessible bonus scheme.
- Role-specific and technical training, along with clear pathways for progression.
- Supportive culture with ongoing mentoring and coaching.
- Flexible work arrangements, including the option to work from home.
- Modern systems and technology that are fully connected with the applicant tracking system.
- Large West Perth office with end-of-trip facilities.
- Access to meditation sessions, desk-based shoulder and neck massages, volunteering leave, and company-funded financial planning guidance.
- Quarter-end and financial year celebrations, quarterly breakfasts, milestone gifts, and an end-of-year party.
- Additional learning support through external recruitment coaches, leadership consultants, and communication and management training.

It is best suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys managing multiple priorities, and is comfortable working across client service and business development support.
