Westfill Group is looking for a Recruitment Advisor to support its next stage of growth from its Bibra Lake base in Western Australia. This position sits within a business that began in 2020 with a focus on mining backfill solutions and has since expanded into backfill and paste plant solutions, underground mining services, and mining software products. What you will do
- Run blue-collar recruitment from job advertising through to offer stage for a variety of underground mining positions, including trades, operators, and technical roles
- Assist with white-collar recruitment when required
- Support onboarding activities and related processes
- Work closely with hiring managers and site teams to understand staffing requirements
- Use sourcing methods that attract strong candidates in a competitive labour market
- Develop and maintain talent pools for upcoming project requirements
- Assist with broader HR administration and operational support as needed
- Look for ways to improve recruitment processes and keep practices aligned with strong HR standards
What the employer is looking for
- At least 3 years of experience in both blue-collar and white-collar recruitment
- Background in underground mining recruitment or trades recruitment is preferred, though not compulsory
- Strong organisational ability and confidence managing multiple priorities
- Comfort working under pressure in a busy environment
- Ability to work independently when needed
- Flexible approach to change and a genuine focus on continuous improvement
- Proactive, practical problem-solving style with strong communication skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Permanent work rights in Australia are required, meaning Australian permanent residency or citizenship
