What you will do

• Run blue-collar recruitment from job advertising through to offer stage for a variety of underground mining positions, including trades, operators, and technical roles
• Assist with white-collar recruitment when required
• Support onboarding activities and related processes
• Work closely with hiring managers and site teams to understand staffing requirements
• Use sourcing methods that attract strong candidates in a competitive labour market
• Develop and maintain talent pools for upcoming project requirements
• Assist with broader HR administration and operational support as needed
• Look for ways to improve recruitment processes and keep practices aligned with strong HR standards

What the employer is looking for

• At least 3 years of experience in both blue-collar and white-collar recruitment
• Background in underground mining recruitment or trades recruitment is preferred, though not compulsory
• Strong organisational ability and confidence managing multiple priorities
• Comfort working under pressure in a busy environment
• Ability to work independently when needed
• Flexible approach to change and a genuine focus on continuous improvement
• Proactive, practical problem-solving style with strong communication skills
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Permanent work rights in Australia are required, meaning Australian permanent residency or citizenship
