About the Role
As a Recruiting Manager, you will play a central role in connecting the right independent experts with client projects. The position is based in Hamburg and combines market research, matching, stakeholder communication, and relationship building in a fast-moving, competitive environment.
The company’s goal is to build a leading ecosystem for top-tier self-employed specialists. In this role, you act as a key connector who helps ensure client projects succeed through the right expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the sales team to understand client project needs, including missing skills and experience profiles.
- Search a data-driven talent pool for suitable independent experts whose background fits open assignments.
- Conduct phone-based conversations to assess freelancers’ exact capabilities and present relevant project opportunities to them.
- Handle initial negotiations on framework topics such as project duration and compensation.
- Re-engage experts whose current assignments are ending and encourage continued collaboration within the network.
- Use professional networks such as XING and LinkedIn to attract new self-employed experts for future project opportunities.
What You Bring
- A completed university degree or vocational training, ideally with initial experience in recruiting.
- Strong people skills and the ability to quickly assess complex experience profiles and capabilities.
- Confident communication and coordination skills, along with a service-oriented mindset.
- Comfort in a dynamic setting that requires flexibility, prioritization, and ongoing personal and professional growth.
