Job description

About Litmus

Litmus is creating the data layer that helps industrial AI work in the real world. The company enables manufacturers to access, organize, and act on live operational data from machines, systems, and sensors at the edge. By connecting edge computing, AI, and industrial operations, Litmus helps large enterprises run in real time, cut downtime, and improve production efficiency.

Trusted by major manufacturers and partners such as Google, Microsoft, Dell, Oracle, and Mitsubishi, Litmus is part of the movement toward software-defined manufacturing and is supported by leading investors.

Why Join Litmus

This role offers the chance to help build the infrastructure that makes industrial AI possible. You will work on real-world problems where software must function reliably in physical, production-heavy environments. The work sits at the intersection of distributed systems, real-time data, and industrial constraints, where speed, scale, and dependability matter.

You will have direct impact on customers and on the company’s direction, with the autonomy to shape processes as the business scales. Litmus values high ownership, quick execution, and strong outcomes, while maintaining a collaborative, curious, and low-ego team environment.

Role Overview

Litmus is seeking a Recruiter to own global full-cycle hiring across North America, Europe, and later Asia. Based in Santa Clara, CA or Toronto, Canada, this position follows an in-office schedule of three days per week. The recruiter will manage the complete hiring process, including workforce planning, sourcing strategy, candidate experience, employer branding, and offer closure.

In the first year, the goal is to establish a predictable and scalable recruiting engine, build strong talent pipelines for both technical and go-to-market roles, and become a trusted advisor to hiring managers and leadership. There is also potential to contribute to broader employee experience work, depending on team bandwidth.

What You Will Do

  • Own the full recruiting lifecycle for Litmus as the company’s dedicated in-house recruiter, covering roles from kickoff to offer acceptance across North America, Europe, and Asia.
  • Design and improve scalable recruiting workflows using AI tools and automation.
  • Hire across engineering, product, data and AI, GTM, customer success, and business operations functions.
  • Work with hiring managers and senior leaders to define role needs, create scorecards, and run structured interview processes.
  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines through proactive sourcing and candidate engagement, including passive candidates.
  • Strengthen the employer brand and clarify the candidate value proposition.
  • Support workforce planning and broader organizational growth efforts.
  • Manage recruiting operations in Ashby, keeping data clean, pipeline reporting accurate, and candidate experience consistent.
  • Coordinate offer management and collaborate with People Ops on pre-hire steps and handoffs.
  • Monitor recruiting performance metrics such as time-to-fill, pipeline health, and source effectiveness, and share market insights with leadership.

What You Bring

Must-have qualifications

  • At least 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a high-growth startup or scale-up environment.
  • Demonstrated success hiring both technical and non-technical talent, with strong sourcing and passive candidate outreach skills.
  • Experience recruiting across multiple regions, including North America, Europe, and Asia.
  • Direct, hands-on experience using Ashby as the main applicant tracking system.
  • Experience applying AI tools and recruiting automation to improve efficiency and output.
  • Ability to influence hiring managers and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, interviewing, and candidate evaluation skills.
  • Self-driven and organized, with comfort building processes from the ground up while operating as the sole recruiter.

Preferred qualifications

  • Exposure to B2B SaaS, industrial technology, manufacturing technology, IoT, or AI companies.
  • Experience handling executive-level searches.
  • Background in building employer branding or talent marketing programs.
  • Interest in employee experience and onboarding as part of a broader people team remit.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is USD 125,000 to 150,000 per year.
