Job Description

As a Recreation Attendant, your primary role is to deliver warm, engaging, and genuinely local personalized service to all guests utilizing the resort's facilities. You will be instrumental in creating a positive and memorable experience for every guest.

Responsibilities

• Proactively interact with guests, assisting with their needs, including but not limited to distributing towels and chaise lounge covers, and setting up chaise lounges and cabanas.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the pool deck areas by collecting and disposing of used towels and debris throughout the day.
• Deliver unique and personalized experiences through warm, attentive, and detailed service in a luxurious, upscale, and fast-paced setting.
• Ensure a welcoming first impression of the pool area by meticulously managing cleanliness, setup, and ambiance.
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of all wellness and recreation services, activities, amenities, and hotel offerings.
• Actively promote and upsell wellness and recreation services and packages to maximize revenue.
• Execute assigned opening and closing duties, ensuring the pool area is prepared according to established standards and procedures.
• Be fully aware of and adhere to the hotel's fire, life safety, and emergency protocols.
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties as assigned by hotel management.

Qualifications

• A minimum of one year of experience in a similar role as a Recreation Attendant.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
• A foundational understanding of recreational equipment and facility operations.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency response procedures.
• Willingness to undertake any assignments delegated by the department manager.
