Job description
Overview
Solvere Technical Group is looking for a Records Management Contractor to help keep records organized, secure, and efficiently maintained. This role suits someone who is careful, structured, and experienced with document management tools.
What You’ll Do
- Support records management tasks, including drafting management plans and status reports.
- Help coordinate schedules so proposals, contract deliverables, task order reviews, presentations, briefings, and in-process reviews are completed on time.
- Review, develop, and improve administrative operating procedures for programs.
- Track and manage document requests in line with National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) guidance and Federal Records Center (FRC) requirements.
- Assist with classification reviews when needed.
- Respond to customer requests for records or related support.
- Convert physical records into digital files following NARA standards.
- Prepare expired records for disposal.
- Log receipt and storage details, including indexing.
- Check box contents for accuracy and completeness.
- Complete inventory reconciliations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or an equivalent qualification.
- Prior experience in records management or a similar function.
- Working knowledge of document management systems and related software.
- Strong accuracy, organization, and follow-through.
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.

Work Environment
The role involves sitting and standing for long periods, frequent use of a keyboard and mouse, and extended time viewing computer screens. It may also require occasional lifting of under 40 lbs and moving within the office or between nearby buildings. Working conditions are generally stable, with some seasonal variation in temperature and lighting.
