About the Bellman Hotel

The Bellman Hotel Berlin, a boutique design hotel opened in 2025, features 99 rooms and is located in the vibrant Neukölln district of Berlin. Key Responsibilities

  • Welcoming guests during check-in and ensuring smooth check-out processes with friendliness, efficiency, and attention to detail
  • Managing the reception area and handling personal, telephone, and written guest communications
  • Processing reservations, booking inquiries, and room optimizations using the Property Management System (Hotelmeister)
  • Handling cash management, invoicing, and payment transactions
  • Coordinating with housekeeping, technical staff, and other departments to maintain seamless operations
  • Receiving and addressing complaints with a solution-focused and tactful approach
  • Ensuring organized shift transitions and handovers between teams
  • Supporting upselling efforts for room categories and additional services

Qualifications & Experience

  • Completed training in hotel management or a comparable field within hospitality
  • Career changers with proven guest-facing experience are warmly welcomed
  • Initial experience working at a hotel reception or similar customer service role
  • Familiarity with Property Management Systems, preferably Apaleo
  • Knowledge of channel management systems and online travel agency platforms is advantageous

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in booking systems, cashier software, and MS Office applications
  • Basic understanding of reservation processes and invoicing
  • Competence in handling guest complaints and complaint management

Language Requirements

  • Fluent German, both spoken and written
  • Good command of English in speaking and writing; additional languages are a bonus

  • Strong service orientation with an intuitive understanding of guest needs
  • Dependability, punctuality, and a sense of responsibility
  • Ability to work well in a team and maintain calm and solution-oriented behavior under pressure
