Job description

Role overview

This position is centered on managing warehouse activities for medical devices in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on safe storage, accurate inventory control, and timely distribution while making sure all products are handled in line with local regulations and quality expectations.

Warehouse operations

  • Plan and maintain an effective warehouse arrangement for medical devices, taking into account product dimensions, classification, and any temperature-sensitive storage needs.
  • Manage the full flow of warehouse work, including receiving goods, storing items, tracking inventory, processing orders, and dispatching shipments.
  • Keep operations running efficiently so customer needs are met promptly and lead times stay low.

Inventory and quality control

  • Set up strong inventory controls to monitor stock levels, expiry dates, and batch numbers.
  • Carry out regular stock audits and maintain precise records.
  • Apply quality checks, including temperature monitoring, to protect the integrity and safety of medical devices during storage and distribution.
  • Define handling, packaging, labeling, and transport practices that reduce the risk of damage or contamination.

Compliance and continuous improvement

  • Stay current with Saudi regulations, including requirements from the Saudi Food and Drug Authority, and ensure the warehouse follows all storage, labeling, and documentation rules.
  • Use Danaher Business System principles or other lean methods to improve warehouse performance, remove inefficiencies, and strengthen productivity.

Leadership

  • Supervise and guide warehouse staff, making sure the team is trained, engaged, and working according to best practices.
  • Support the development of a high-performing team through effective leadership and day-to-day coaching.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a similar discipline is required.
  • The role calls for at least 5 years of experience in warehouse operations management, ideally within the medical device sector.
  • Practical knowledge of Danaher Business System principles or comparable lean management practices is expected.
  • Familiarity with Saudi regulations and standards for storing and distributing medical devices is important.

Behavioral strengths

  • Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
  • Ability to analyze situations and solve problems using data-led judgment.
  • Clear communication and strong interpersonal skills for working with cross-functional teams.
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving environment while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
