Job description
Role overview
This position is part of the Qassim team and is based fully on site. The role is centered in a hypermarket receiving area, where you will handle incoming goods, inspect deliveries, and help keep day-to-day operations accurate and efficient.
Key responsibilities
- Accept deliveries from suppliers and verify that they match the required specifications and purchase requests.
- Check quantities and product quality, and thoroughly review all items received.
- Enter received goods information into electronic systems.
- Work with other departments to ensure smooth handling of receiving and storage activities.
- Report any shortages or discrepancies found in incoming deliveries.
Essential requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in goods receiving within a hypermarket or large retail environment.
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good command of inventory management systems and related computer applications.
Preferred requirements
- Familiarity with proper storage methods and material movement in a hypermarket setting.
- Previous experience working in cross-functional teams.
- Effective communication skills with suppliers and colleagues.
