Quality Engineer - Qatari National

Role overview

The Quality Engineer is responsible for helping the organization meet its quality standards and commitments. The role focuses on identifying improvement opportunities through data-driven analysis, inspection findings, and testing results, while also promoting quality awareness across the business through training and sharing proven practices. In addition, this position supports the Quality Manager in carrying out KONE’s quality strategy, governance framework, and quality objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Use data analysis to decide which quality improvement areas should be prioritized.
• Apply continuous improvement methods to study non-conformances, identify root causes, define corrective measures, and follow them through to completion.
• Build and review large data sets from different platforms to spot trends and patterns.
• Assist the Quality Manager with setting targets and quality goals.
• Carry out in-process and product inspections, including tests, sampling, and other validation activities to confirm requirements are met.
• Keep quality documentation and records current in line with quality procedures.
• Transfer quality knowledge, tools, and best practices to the organization and help teams build the capability to apply them within established standards.
• Support internal and external audit activities alongside the Quality Manager.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective actions for Quality Improvement teams within the assigned area.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate is motivated, target-driven, organized, and able to work independently with a strong service mindset. A bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required, along with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. This opportunity is open only to Qatari nationals due to current labor regulations.
