Role summary

This temporary, on-site internship is based in Tuas, West Region, Singapore. The role supports the quality assurance function in day-to-day operations and gives practical exposure to a manufacturing or industrial setting. The intern will work with teams across production, operations, and HSE while learning how quality systems are applied in practice.

What you will do

  • Assist with the rollout and tracking of quality procedures.
  • Review and organize quality-related documentation and help ensure alignment with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Support product inspections and carry out basic quality checks.
  • Compile, sort, and maintain quality data and prepare straightforward reports for the QA team.
  • Help coordinate internal audits and track follow-up actions.
  • Contribute to corrective and preventive action follow-through.
  • Take part in continuous improvement activities.

What the role requires

  • Basic understanding of quality assurance and quality control concepts, ideally with interest in applying them in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with quality management principles and willingness to learn how quality systems are maintained.
  • Interest in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), compliance, and documentation practices.
  • Exposure to or curiosity about quality auditing, including internal checks, audit preparation, and finding follow-up.
  • Currently studying or recently finished a diploma or degree in Engineering, Science, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
  • Strong attention to detail and solid organizational ability.
  • Ability to follow procedures accurately and work well with others.
  • Good written and spoken communication skills.
  • Comfort using basic office tools such as spreadsheets and word processing software for data entry and report preparation.
