Job description
Role overview
This position sits within the Marketing team at Duty Free Shoppers in the Free Zone, Vieux Fort. The role is suited to someone who is highly observant, enjoys catching issues early, and takes pride in keeping product information accurate and polished across online sales channels.
What you will do
- Learn the workflow of multiple online marketplaces so you can identify and help fix problems in listings, including incorrect text and images.
- Review product pages, brand stores, and websites with a sharp eye for missing details, inaccuracies, and inconsistencies.
- Work with audit sheets in Microsoft Excel to inspect each part of Product Detail Pages and prepare reports that other teams can use.
- Coordinate with copywriting and creative teams, account managers, the ticketing team, and marketing associates to move issues to the right place and keep work progressing.
- Keep the product database updated and aligned so that the data remains accurate and consistent.
- Use Asana project workflows to track tasks and support smooth handoffs between teams.
- Adjust quickly to new tools, systems, and process updates as they are introduced.
- High-performing team members with strong QA and technical knowledge may progress into a QA Specialist role, supporting the Supervisor and Manager on more complex cases.
Skills and qualifications
The ideal candidate pays close attention to detail, works carefully with product content and visuals, and can stay focused on repetitive tasks without losing accuracy. Comfort with Microsoft Excel is important, especially files that include formulas such as VLOOKUP. Familiarity with web-based tools and marketplace backend details is an advantage. You should also be able to communicate issues clearly, choose the right team to involve, and remain open to learning new systems as the team evolves.
