About the role
The IT Mind Services is hiring a QA Automation Engineer with strong Rest Assured experience for a permanent position in Hyderabad or Bangalore. The position follows a hybrid model, with work from the office for 2 days each week.
This opening is for candidates who can join immediately within the current week and who bring substantial hands-on experience in QA automation, API testing, and Rest Assured-based automation.

Mandatory experience
- QA automation: 6+ years of relevant experience
- API testing: 4+ years of relevant experience
- Rest Assured API automation: 4+ years of relevant experience
What the role involves
The selected candidate will be responsible for building and improving test plans, designing test cases, and executing both manual and automated tests across the software development lifecycle. The role also involves identifying defects, driving issue resolution with engineering teams, strengthening automation frameworks, and supporting performance and security testing where needed.
Skills and background
Applicants should have a solid command of software testing approaches, including different testing types and industry best practices. Experience with manual and automated testing tools, Agile/Scrum delivery, and programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# will be valuable. Certifications such as ISTQB or CSTE are considered an advantage.
Additional information
This is a full-time permanent opportunity. Compensation is listed at INR 18,00,000 to INR 25,00,000 per year.
