This is a 12-month parental leave contract running through May 2027. The role can be based from any EY office in Australia or New Zealand, and flexible arrangements with reduced hours may be considered. Candidates are encouraged to discuss possible options with the team.
Responsibilities
- Run the end-to-end pursuit process for major opportunities, making sure proposals are delivered on time, remain high quality, and reflect the firm’s brand and the client’s expectations.
- Work closely with pursuit teams and internal stakeholders to shape persuasive value propositions and create supporting client deliverables during each stage of the pursuit.
- Coach engagement teams, share proven practices, and help improve pursuit processes and standards across the business.
Skills and experience
- Strong coordination and project management capability, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create convincing, client-oriented content.
- Good understanding of design and production workflows.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.
- At least 6 years of experience in a sales or marketing setting, including substantial bid management or bid coordination experience; professional services experience is an advantage.
- Ability to influence stakeholders without formal authority and build effective cross-functional relationships.
- Creative thinking, a growth mindset, problem-solving ability, initiative, and adaptability in fast-moving environments.
- Experience mentoring or coaching others, along with a willingness to share knowledge and best practice.
Benefits
- Career development support with opportunities to build future-focused skills and gain varied, world-class experience.
- Flexible work policies designed to support work-life balance and autonomy.
- Comprehensive benefits, including an annual wellness incentive, access to an additional 8 weeks of flex leave each year, and family-friendly policies with up to 26 weeks of gender-neutral paid parental leave.
- Competitive pay, with salary open to negotiation based on skills and experience.
