Seymour Pacific Developments is seeking a Purchasings Agent passionate about construction with practical experience handling building materials. This entry-level position suits candidates with backgrounds in construction sales, hardware retail, or materials coordination aiming to advance into procurement.

Key Responsibilities

• Procure and distribute materials and supplies for multi-family residential construction projects.
• Apply product and material expertise to guide purchasing choices.
• Evaluate quotes, compare vendor prices, and prepare purchase orders.
• Assist estimators and site personnel by gathering budget pricing and product specifications.
• Facilitate communication among vendors, sites, and internal departments.
• Ensure timely material ordering to align with project timelines.
• Coordinate delivery and storage logistics for acquired items.
• Maintain consistent communication with site receiving teams.
• Address issues relating to incorrect or late shipments promptly.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Candidate Qualifications

• Comfortable liaising with suppliers, trade professionals, and construction teams.
• Strong organizational capabilities and effective time management.
• Ability to work autonomously and proactively.
• Familiarity with pricing quotes, purchase orders, and related documentation.
• Keen interest in developing procurement skills and knowledge.
• Understanding of construction drawings or project schedules is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary ranges from $52,000 to $65,000, determined by experience, education, and skill level. Benefits include:
