Role overview
Xsolla is looking for an experienced Public Relations Manager to join its Global Marketing team and drive PR and media relations efforts across the MENA region. In this position, you will help shape campaign planning, work closely with internal teams and external partners, execute communications initiatives, and track the impact of regional PR activity.
The objective of the role is to build a strong and positive reputation for the company among employees, candidates, clients, partners, influencers, industry voices, and gamers across MENA. This opportunity is a strong fit for someone with excellent writing ability, comfort with technology and customer-facing communication, and a solid grasp of games technology, fintech, and forums. The ideal candidate is collaborative, attentive, open to new ideas, and dependable in handling responsibilities proactively.
You will work either from the Cyprus office or remotely within the MENA region and will report to the Vice President of Global Public Relations.

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with leading local and Tier 1 media partners across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Israel, Egypt, and the wider MENA region.
- Help shape communications plans, including strategy, objectives, budget considerations, and activation tactics.
- Create a media relations approach that secures prominent coverage in print, broadcast, and digital outlets in both English and Arabic.
- Support the planning and coordination of public relations activities, including event arrangements and speaking opportunities at major regional games, fintech, and web3 events.
- Work with the integrated marketing manager to develop content for both traditional and digital channels, with careful attention to regional cultural expectations.
- Use existing media connections while building new relationships with business, technology, and gaming journalists and outlets throughout MENA.
- Respond to media questions and manage interview coordination.
- Write press releases, bylined pieces, and presentation or speaking scripts.
- Assess partnership, sponsorship, and advertising opportunities within the fast-growing gaming and entertainment landscape in the region.
- Develop connections with thought leaders, government innovation organizations, and gaming ecosystem stakeholders to strengthen awareness of the industry.
- Monitor market and industry developments affecting clients and the MENA gaming sector, and recommend communication strategy adjustments as needed.
- Contribute original ideas for thought leadership content and maintain a strong bank of editorial concepts aligned with regional market plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a similar field.
- 6 to 8 years of experience planning and delivering successful public relations campaigns in both domestic and international markets, with substantial experience in MENA.
- Well-established relationships with local and international business and industry media across MENA; ties with creators and influencers are an advantage.
- Strong writing and editing abilities across short-form, long-form, branded content, and light ad copy.
- Experience leading PR event planning and execution in the MENA region, especially in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
- Capability in crisis communications.
- Previous experience in the video game industry is required; fintech exposure is a plus.
- Ability to adapt press releases for Arabic-language audiences and work with regional cultural nuances.
- Comfort working independently across time zones and contributing effectively in a globally distributed team.
- Demonstrated ability to protect confidential information and work professionally with external vendors, cross-functional teams, and special projects.
- Knowledge of regional data privacy regulations, including UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on Personal Data Protection and Saudi Arabia’s PDPL, along with relevant local laws and business practices.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Arabic and/or Hebrew proficiency is strongly preferred.
- Additional European or regional language skills are considered an advantage.
