Psychologist

Role Description

The psychologist will provide comprehensive psychological services to children with diverse abilities in a full-time, on-site role based in Doha, Qatar. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based interventions tailored to each child’s needs. The role involves providing counseling and behavioral support, collaborating closely with therapists, educators, and families to ensure coordinated care, and contributing to multidisciplinary case discussions.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Arabic is mandatory. Applicants who are not fully bilingual will not be considered.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a similar role is required.
• Strong foundation in psychology, with training in child and developmental psychology relevant to children with diverse abilities.
• Demonstrated skills in counseling and mental health support, including evidence-based therapeutic approaches for children and families.
• Relevant master’s or doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology; eligibility for local licensure or registration in Qatar.
• Experience working with children with special needs, neurodevelopmental conditions, or learning differences in clinical, school, or center-based settings.

Additional Information

Experience with ABA therapy is required.
