Job description
Role summary
This position supports the Program Material Manager by overseeing equipment accountability and administration for the Category II Satellite supply account. The role is centered on keeping property records accurate and ensuring compliance with the Performance Work Statement and the applicable Quality Management System.
Key duties
- Handle property consignments and serve as a point of contact for subcontractors, vendors, government representatives, the public, and property owners or violators regarding releases and related property management matters.
- Enter and maintain information in required systems and databases, generate reports, and draft correspondence when requested.
- Process equipment transactions in ELMS, manage shortage receipt files, support excess turn-ins and deletions, coordinate transfers between sites, and oversee items held in courtesy storage.
- Work with inventory teams during monthly site visits and equipment inventories to confirm that custodian records remain correct.
- Maintain DPAS/ELMS as the official accountable property system of record and ensure it aligns with Department of Defense property accountability standards.
Knowledge and skills
- Strong computer skills, including Windows and Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of basic math and property accounting practices used by the U.S. Air Force or similar U.S. service systems, including manual and automated processes.
- Ability to carry out ELMS and Integrated Logistics Support Solutions (ILSS) tasks effectively.
- Comfort using BLADE reports and listings for record management and review.
- Current familiarity with equipment management and ELMS in a military logistics environment.
- Valid home-country driver’s license, with the ability to obtain a host-nation license.
- Potential need to operate material-handling equipment.
- Ability to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).
- Authorization to work in the host country.
Education and experience
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Experience with multiple databases and systems such as Maximo, SharePoint, PIEE, and ELMS/DPAS is preferred.
Work environment and physical demands
This is an OCONUS assignment, and the work setting may involve remote or uncomfortable living conditions, extended hours, exposure to weather, and hazardous situations. The job may require domestic and international travel. Work can take place in an office, maintenance shop, warehouse, or outdoors for long periods. Proper personal protective equipment must be worn as required. The role also requires the ability to lift, push, or pull at least 50 lbs.
Additional responsibilities

Compensation
The expected annual compensation for this position is between 40,000 and 44,000 euros. This is a good-faith estimate and may change depending on responsibilities, education, experience, skills, market conditions, internal equity, and any applicable agreements or laws.
