Job description

Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Project Planning & Control Manager to support the Development Control team in the execution of major development initiatives. The role suits someone with solid experience on the owner’s side or within a PMC, especially across planning, controls, scheduling, budgeting, and performance tracking in complex environments with multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of planning and controls activities across large development programs.
  • Create, update, and track integrated master schedules and overall program plans.
  • Bring together project timelines and budgets for reporting at portfolio level.
  • Track project progress, spot time and cost variances, and suggest corrective measures.
  • Work closely with PMCs, contractors, consultants, and internal teams to align planning efforts.
  • Carry out critical path reviews, risk evaluations, and progress status reporting.
  • Manage document control workflows and maintain compliance with governance standards.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a closely related field is required.
  • 12 to 15 years of hands-on experience in project planning and controls.
  • Background in owner-side or PMC roles for large development, infrastructure, or real estate projects is necessary.
  • Strong command of Primavera P6 is mandatory.
  • Well-versed in scheduling, project controls, cost management, budgeting, risk handling, change control, and executive-level reporting.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills are essential.
  • Arabic and English language ability is preferred.

This opportunity is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It is a contract position and requires onsite presence. The role is intended for professionals who can contribute to high-impact development work and collaborate effectively in a multi-stakeholder environment.
