Job description
Role overview
This contract position involves leading strategic communications for the rollout and public launch of DSLConnect, a newly introduced online system for the client in the United States. The consultant will shape communication efforts across the project lifecycle to build awareness, encourage participation, and prepare stakeholders for change.
What you will do
- Direct communications planning and execution for the implementation and launch of DSLConnect.
- Build, refine, and deliver end-to-end communication strategies that keep stakeholders informed, engaged, and ready at every stage of the project.
- Prepare a range of polished communication assets such as plans, core messages, web copy, fact sheets, FAQs, email outreach, engagement materials, presentations, and speaker notes.
- Convert technical or complex information into content that is easy for different audiences to understand and use.
- Assist with outreach efforts aimed at customers, partners, Tribal governments, agencies, and other key groups.
- Design communication tactics that reinforce change management and promote adoption of the new system.
- Track communication performance, gather stakeholder input, and modify plans to address concerns and reduce communication-related risks.
- Work closely with project leaders, technical experts, and communications team members to keep messaging aligned and effective.
- Make sure all materials meet branding requirements and accessibility expectations.
- Keep messaging consistent and ensure high quality across every communication channel and deliverable.
