Hanshow Germany GmbH was founded in 2018 in Düsseldorf’s Oberkassel area. To support continued growth in Europe, the company is hiring a Project Manager Renewable Energy/PV (d/f/m).

Role overview

This role is responsible for managing renewable energy and PV projects from commercial planning and design coordination through delivery and customer handover. The position combines technical project management, customer communication, cost control, stakeholder coordination, and support for contract-related processes.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare commercial estimates and financial models, while understanding the customer’s needs, solution scope, timelines, and commercial requirements.
  • Work with clients to refine project design parameters and build the most cost-effective solution for each assignment, including site-specific design inputs.
  • Explain solution features, specifications, benefits, and applications to customers and provide training where needed.
  • Manage customer complaints related to product issues and follow through on internal corrective actions until resolution is reached in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and other relevant stakeholders so that materials, tools, equipment, and personnel are available when required.
  • Lead local project execution, covering planning, engineering review, implementation, risk and cost control, and maintenance service delivery while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with developers, subcontractors, municipal bodies, equipment vendors, and construction suppliers to deliver a cost-efficient project outcome.
  • Work with the legal team on audit responses and the completion of project contract signings.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline from an accredited institution, or an equivalent mix of education, technical training, and relevant experience in electrical contracting or a comparable field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, with the capability to plan, develop, and coordinate several projects at the same time.
  • Ability to work independently while meeting customer expectations and requirements.
  • Strong working knowledge of PVsyst, PV Sol, AutoCAD, and similar tools.
  • Solid understanding of electrical construction, contracts, and related terminology.
  • Capability to manage multiple issues concurrently and resolve them independently or with others in a collaborative way.
  • Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to make administrative and procedural judgments when needed.
  • Comfortable contributing to a cooperative team environment.
  • Fluent command of Chinese, English, and German.
  • Valid German driver’s license is mandatory.
