Job description
Role overview
An experienced Project Manager is needed to steer and deliver digital transformation work for a financial services client based in Dublin. The assignment is set up as a day-rate contract for an initial period of 6 months, with a hybrid arrangement requiring 2 to 3 days onsite in Dublin city centre.
What you will do
- Take ownership of digital transformation programmes from early planning through implementation and business adoption.
- Coordinate work across business, operations, and technology teams to keep delivery aligned.
- Work with senior stakeholders and technology partners to shape requirements into practical solutions.
- Lead multiple workstreams at once while maintaining clear communication across all parties involved.
- Support customer-facing digital initiatives, platform improvements, process redesign, and operational change efforts.
- Manage governance, planning, risks, and dependencies to keep programmes on track.
Required background
- Demonstrable experience delivering digital transformation initiatives in financial services.
- Strong full lifecycle project management experience, covering initiation, delivery, implementation, and adoption.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams spanning business, operations, and technology.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, including influencing senior business and technology leaders.
- Comfort working closely with technology teams to turn business needs into deliverable solutions.
- Strong verbal and written communication, with the ability to manage several stakeholders and workstreams simultaneously.
- Hands-on experience in Agile or hybrid delivery settings.
- Solid capability in governance, planning, risk control, and dependency tracking.
Preferred profile
- Exposure to wealth management, private banking, asset management, or investment services would be an advantage.
- Experience supporting business readiness, change management, and end-user adoption is desirable.
- Project management credentials such as PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile certifications are beneficial.
