Role Summary
This contract role is for an on-site Project Manager in Etobicoke, Ontario, with a focus on building restoration and building science experience. The selected professional will guide projects from planning through execution and final completion, making sure work is delivered on schedule, stays within budget, and meets quality expectations. The role requires regular coordination with clients, oversight of project teams, schedule management, enforcement of safety practices, and prompt resolution of project issues. Ongoing interaction with property managers, consultants, and other stakeholders will be an important part of day-to-day work.
Core Responsibilities
Lead the full lifecycle of assigned restoration projects, from early planning through closeout.
Coordinate directly with clients, consultants, and property management teams to keep work aligned with project goals.
Direct project teams and maintain progress across multiple active assignments.
Manage schedules, delivery timelines, and task sequencing to support on-time completion.
Monitor budgets, quality standards, and site compliance requirements throughout execution.
Oversee safety protocols and address project-related challenges as they arise.
Work with multidisciplinary stakeholders to support effective communication and project coordination.
Required Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of experience in capital projects for condominiums or multi-residential apartment buildings is required.
Demonstrated ability to manage projects and lead teams across more than one initiative.
Strong capability in expediting work and coordinating deliverables to meet deadlines.
Experience with inspections and maintaining quality and compliance standards while working with consulting engineering firms.
Background in logistics coordination, including resource allocation, supply oversight, and project planning.
Well-developed organization, analytical problem-solving, and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for working with diverse project teams.
Experience in construction or restoration is considered an advantage.
