Key responsibilities

  • Bring together stakeholders from different functions to surface, communicate, and reduce risks.
  • Create and maintain project plans covering scope, timelines, milestones, and resourcing.
  • Track schedule performance through daily and weekly operational review sessions.
  • Facilitate problem-solving sessions and remove operational obstacles that affect delivery.
  • Review current schedules and execution approaches and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain clear visibility through strong reporting, tracking, and governance practices.
  • Assess and sign off on changes that affect scope, budget, timelines, or delivery approach.
  • Help move projects from concept and planning into execution and operational readiness.

Experience and skills required

  • 3 to 5+ years of experience leading projects or programmes in manufacturing, engineering, or regulated environments.
  • Background in large capital projects or manufacturing project delivery is an advantage.
  • Solid understanding of the full project lifecycle and on-site execution.
  • Strong ability to manage stakeholders and work effectively across functions.
  • Capability to influence outcomes without direct reporting authority.
  • Experience handling manufacturing and quality documentation.
  • Confident facilitation, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Project and Excel.
  • People management experience is beneficial but not mandatory.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Science, or a similar discipline is required.

Ideal background

  • Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other highly regulated manufacturing settings.
  • Exposure to greenfield site setup or expansion initiatives.
  • Experience in operational readiness, commissioning, or manufacturing scale-up projects.
