Job description

About Station A

Station A is a technology company focused on transforming the way clean energy is sourced and transacted. Its distributed team brings together climate-driven technologists, strategists, and operators who are working to make climate action easy and accessible.

The company pairs proprietary software with sector knowledge to support commercial real estate owners and operators as they move through decarbonization work, beginning with portfolio evaluation and continuing through transactions on its clean energy marketplace.

Role Overview

As Project Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for driving successful delivery of platform projects. You will work closely with engineering, design, and business development teams to define scope, build project plans, and keep execution on track. This position offers the chance to contribute in a high-energy startup setting where priorities can shift quickly.

What You Will Do

  • Take ownership of customer project delivery from launch through completion, ensuring timelines are met and milestones are achieved.
  • Act as a reliable partner to Station A clients by helping them assess options, choose suitable solutions, and execute projects aligned with their goals.
  • Answer provider questions and coordinate communication among buyers, providers, and internal teams to keep work moving.
  • Spot project risks early, build mitigation plans, and resolve issues or blockers before they slow progress.
  • Set project milestones, monitor progress against schedules, identify delays, and push initiatives forward to completion.
  • Keep stakeholders updated through regular check-ins, meetings, and progress reporting.
  • Look for ways to improve processes and apply best practices that strengthen project delivery.
  • Review and evaluate proposals from energy providers to confirm they meet company requirements and guidelines.
  • Assess the financial viability and risk profile of each proposal.
  • Offer recommendations and insights that improve proposal quality and competitiveness.
  • Maintain accurate, well-organized records of proposals and analysis results.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the clean energy sector, with preference for candidates who have direct clean energy project development experience; solar experience is an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated success managing and delivering complex projects on schedule.
  • Experience reviewing proposals, ideally within the energy or cleantech space.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle several tasks and projects at once.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment and adjusting quickly to evolving priorities and needs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex analysis to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheet tools such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for analysis.

Who You Are

You want to be directly involved in getting real clean energy projects built rather than only discussing them.

You are comfortable managing complex, multi-stakeholder processes and creating structure in fast-moving environments.

You care about accuracy as much as outcomes, ensuring proposals are sound while also keeping projects advancing.

You are energized by being central to the marketplace, helping connect buyers and providers and translating opportunities into real-world impact.

You want to improve how clean energy transactions work by making them simpler, quicker, and more transparent.

You are motivated to use your clean energy experience in a startup setting where your work can strongly influence company success.

Benefits and Perks

  • Remote-friendly setup for U.S.-based employees, with access to co-working space options.
  • Flexible paid time off.
  • 18 paid holidays in 2026.
  • Monthly remote work stipend equivalent to $600 per year.
  • Learning and development support of $500 per year.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Annual performance bonus.
  • Meaningful equity.

Compensation and Location Preferences

The annual base salary for this role is $116,000 to $130,000, depending on location. The company is fully remote, and candidates based in CA, NV, OR, VA, WA, NY, CO, or TX are preferred.

Our Commitment

Station A welcomes applicants with varied backgrounds and values different perspectives. Even if you do not meet every qualification, you are encouraged to apply if the role excites you.

The company is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to an inclusive and respectful workplace. Hiring decisions are made based on qualifications, merit, and business needs.
