Role overview
This opportunity is with a major international hospitality organization looking for a seasoned Program Manager, Global Brand Strategy to help advance a portfolio of well-known brands across a worldwide business. The position is highly visible and works closely with senior brand leaders to move strategic priorities forward, coordinate complex cross-functional efforts, and keep global stakeholders aligned.
The right person will be an organized strategic operator who enjoys working where brand planning, marketing, and program delivery overlap. Experience with global brands, large matrix organizations, and multi-priority environments is important. Background in hospitality is a strong advantage.
The role calls for someone who can shift comfortably between long-term planning and hands-on execution, turning brand direction into tangible progress through disciplined project leadership, strong stakeholder coordination, and reliable operational support.
Strategic program and project leadership
- Lead and support strategic initiatives across a worldwide brand portfolio, making sure work stays aligned with business goals and organizational priorities.
- Create, update, and run project roadmaps, timelines, milestones, and workstreams across several initiatives at once.
- Keep priorities clear and accountability strong across complex programs, helping teams stay aligned on deliverables, dependencies, and key decisions.
- Use project management tools and agile-style workflows, including Smartsheet, to provide clear visibility into portfolio status and progress.
- Coordinate strategic workstreams and cross-functional teams that support core brand initiatives and portfolio priorities.
Brand strategy and portfolio support
- Work alongside brand strategy leadership to advance initiatives tied to brand positioning, guest experience development, service standards, food and beverage programs, meetings and events, and other key brand pillars.
- Help with annual planning, roadmap building, and long-range portfolio planning efforts.
- Convert strategic goals into practical programs and operational plans.
- Support the assessment and rollout of brand initiatives through thoughtful planning, communication, and coordination.
Cross-functional coordination and stakeholder management
- Bring together internal partners from brand, marketing, operations, finance, regional teams, and executive leadership.
- Own project communications, status reporting, and governance processes to keep global teams aligned.
- Track action items and decisions, and ensure follow-through across multiple initiatives and leadership settings.
- Develop trusted relationships across functions to build consensus, remove blockers, and keep work moving.
Leadership support and communications
- Organize recurring leadership meetings, strategic reviews, and touchpoints with global stakeholders.
- Prepare meetings end-to-end, including agendas, presentation support, pre-read coordination, recap notes, and action item tracking.
- Assist with internal communication related to strategic programs, organizational updates, and portfolio priorities.
- Support monthly reporting, data gathering, and performance tracking.
Conferences, events, and partnerships
- Help plan and execute major internal and external conferences, leadership meetings, workshops, and strategic events.
- Coordinate presentation materials, event logistics, and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Support partnership efforts and cross-functional collaborations tied to brand activations and strategic programs.
Budget and operational support
- Assist with budget planning, allocation tracking, invoice handling, and operational reporting.
- Maintain dashboards, reporting tools, and operational trackers to monitor progress and resource use.
- Manage collaboration platforms, SharePoint sites, and document repositories so information stays organized and easy to access.
Required experience and qualifications
- At least 7 years of experience in program management, project management, brand management, marketing operations, or a related area.
- Proven history of managing complex cross-functional work inside large enterprise environments.
- Strong experience supporting brand strategy, brand management, marketing programs, or portfolio-level initiatives.
- Ability to handle competing priorities and deliver results across several stakeholders and workstreams.
- Experience supporting global organizations and international teams.
- Excellent organization, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Smartsheet, and related project management tools.
Preferred background
- Hospitality industry experience is strongly preferred.
- Exposure to travel, luxury, lifestyle, consumer, or guest-centric brands is beneficial.
- Experience supporting global brand portfolios and enterprise-wide initiatives is a plus.
- Familiarity with strategic planning, brand operations, and marketing program management is helpful.
- Experience using data and insights to shape priorities and decisions is advantageous.
