Job description

Role overview

The Program Coordinator I will assist with participant recruitment and public outreach for the CLARiTI Study. This role combines digital campaign management, creative production, and the creation of participant-friendly materials that are clear, inclusive, and culturally appropriate.

Key responsibilities

  • Partner with the principal investigator, the CLARiTI Access Core team, and project and lab leadership to plan, launch, improve, and oversee digital campaigns that support recruitment and public engagement.
  • Run end-to-end Meta ad campaigns, including awareness-focused top-of-funnel work and lead-generation campaigns, across several study sites.
  • Set up and maintain tracking and reporting workflows using Meta Business Suite, Meta Pixel, UTM parameters, and shared dashboards so progress is visible across the team.
  • Review active campaigns nearly every day, analyze performance data, spot trends, and recommend changes that improve reach, engagement, and conversions.
  • Create and manage social media content across channels, translating complex scientific and clinical topics into plain, engaging, and accessible messaging for audiences with diverse health literacy levels.
  • Prepare flyers, brochures, and digital handouts from provided content using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite, while also sourcing licensed stock images and keeping files and version histories organized in line with CLARiTI branding.
  • Edit short testimonial and educational videos for social and outreach use, adding captions, graphics, brand elements, and platform-specific formatting.
  • Apply ADA accessibility best practices to ads, posts, videos, and outreach materials, including contrast, alt text, captions, readability, and accessible layouts.
  • Handle newsletter distribution through MailerLite or a similar tool, track subscriber growth and engagement, and feed insights back into the wider campaign plan.
  • Prepare detailed quarterly performance reports covering social media and advertising activity for the research team and broader research community.
  • Keep the Access Core team informed in a timely and transparent way about deliverables, schedules, budget alignment, and approvals using tools such as Teams, email, Zoom, SharePoint, and Canva.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned based on study priorities.

Qualifications and experience

  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred, especially in Public Health, Communications, Marketing, or Psychology; equivalent education and directly relevant experience may be accepted in place of the degree.
  • No experience is strictly required, though 1 to 2 years of administrative experience is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience running full-cycle digital advertising campaigns, including Meta Ads Manager, is expected.
  • Experience with UTM tracking, Meta Pixel, analytics dashboards, and campaign optimization for social media is required.
  • Ability to use Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite for graphic design and video editing is needed.
  • Experience meeting ADA accessibility requirements for digital content, including social posts, ad copy, promotional materials, and videos, is required.
  • Prior work in research, healthcare, or an academic setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with community-engaged research and health equity approaches, especially for diverse and historically underrepresented communities, is preferred.
  • Experience with REDCap, Qualtrics, or SPSS in a research environment is considered an advantage.
