Production Supervisor

Role Summary

The Production Supervisor will oversee and manage production processes to ensure efficient and seamless manufacturing operations. This role demands a solid understanding of complex procedures to maintain high-quality outputs while minimizing costs.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the use of spices strictly following production recipes, monitor their handling and incorporation methods.
• Supervise meat processing in accordance with recipe guidelines, overseeing circulation and processing techniques.
• Ensure adequate availability of packing materials and monitor for any shortages or losses.
• Track and record machine readings, ensure proper operation, and oversee disassembly, installation, and routine cleaning of machinery.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams promptly to address equipment breakdowns and resolve issues efficiently.
• Adapt flexibly to production plan changes by making informed decisions to mitigate disruptions caused by unexpected failures.
• Adhere diligently to good manufacturing practices at every production stage.
• Prepare and submit detailed performance reports regularly.
• Organize production workflows by assigning tasks and preparing work schedules effectively.
• Lead, supervise, and train staff to enhance productivity and safety compliance.
• Ensure safe equipment operation by scheduling and enforcing regular maintenance routines.
• Inspect production outcomes to confirm they meet quality specifications.
• Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to boost operational effectiveness.
• Conduct training for new employees on machinery use and procedural compliance.
• Enforce strict adherence to safety standards and company policies.

Candidate Qualifications

• At least three years of experience as a Production Supervisor in frozen food or meat processing sectors.
• Proficient in operating various manufacturing machinery and tools used in production.
• Educational background with a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Veterinary Science, or Agriculture.
