Role overview
The Kansas City Chiefs are looking for a Part-Time, Hourly Production & Game Entertainment Associate to support the full range of game production and entertainment work. This position contributes from concept development and talent booking through scripting and on-field execution, helping deliver top-tier game day entertainment for fans.
Department: Game Day Production
Reports to: Director of Game & Event Entertainment
Core responsibilities
- Coordinate bookings for game entertainment participants such as pregame presentation groups, in-game honorees, national anthem performers, color guard, flags, flyovers, and halftime acts.
- Arrange travel when required and handle game-day logistics for entertainment guests.
- Work with the Game Entertainment Coordinator on military and first responder participation for games and special events.
- Build game-day packets for entertainment groups, including parking details, tickets, credentials, and related materials.
- Serve as the on-field contact for presentations and stadium promotions.
- Support supervision of the Game Entertainment Field Crew, which may include up to 12 team members.
- Help draft game entertainment scripts and timelines for Chiefs programming, including learning and building Shoflo schedules and video board/PA scripts.
- Keep game-day documents and information current while coordinating with stadium event managers, security, and other partners as needed.
- Contribute ideas for in-game entertainment concepts and activations.
- Oversee ordering, shipping, and delivery of game entertainment materials.
- Assist with internal projects and events such as Kickoff Luncheon and Style Lounge.
- Maintain department props and equipment used for game days and other events.
- Support the day-to-day needs of the in-house production team, 65TPT.
- Take on additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and skills
- Strong organization and multitasking ability in a fast-moving environment.
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Solid technical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Adobe Creative Suite experience is considered an advantage.
- Availability to work all Chiefs home games, plus selected evenings and weekends.
Physical expectations
- Primarily light office-based work and related activities.
- Must occasionally lift and transport equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
