Job description
Role Overview
The Production Associate will help run a range of manufacturing activities such as assembly, shaping or forming materials, processing, treating, and packaging. The role focuses on meeting targets for speed, quality, and cost while keeping production aligned with required specifications, output plans, and waste control goals.
This position also involves planning and monitoring production-line maintenance and downtime so that interruptions are kept to a minimum.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day warehouse activities and logistics tasks whenever needed.
- Prepare, check, and keep accurate machine-related documents and labels.
- Handle the safe packing and crating of machines for shipping and transport.
- Receive, manage, and process inbound deliveries arriving at the manufacturing facility.
- Use EFACS or SAP ERP tools to record and monitor inventory and logistics information; prior experience is helpful.
- May be assigned junior assistant engineering duties as required.
Additional Opportunities & Skills
- There may be scope to support quality control inspections and help ensure machinery meets required standards.
- Strong preference for candidates who can assemble, configure, and set up computer systems from the ground up.
