Role overview
This position focuses on steering the evolution and day-to-day lifecycle of the Treasury application landscape while supporting digital improvement across Treasury processes. You will work in an agile setting with close contact with internal stakeholders, helping launch new initiatives and continuously refining products to improve efficiency for a large user base.
As part of Group Applications within Atlas Copco Group IT, you will take ownership of Treasury IT solutions such as Trax, Quantum, and Multibank. The role is centered on meeting business needs while protecting system reliability, data quality, and compliance.
You will also serve as the technical specialist for Treasury applications, ensuring stable operations and compliant use. Depending on team setup, you may guide a driven virtual team working across regions, made up of both internal colleagues and external service partners.
Strategy and product direction
- Shape the product portfolio through clear vision, architecture thinking, and roadmap planning.
- Work with business stakeholders to set priorities and move product initiatives forward.
- Maintain the product and technology roadmap over time.
- Put in place product governance structures.
- Define the service operating model and associated KPIs.
- Build and maintain a communication plan for the product.
- Manage financial aspects of the solution.
Delivery from demand to launch
- Design, develop or source, test, and release Treasury products aligned with group business requirements.
- Partner with regional teams and business stakeholders to understand, assess, and align core needs.
- Rank development requests and ensure delivery meets quality expectations.
- Set the technical approach, plan resources, and establish exit criteria for POCs and MVPs.
- Track testing activities, prepare launch plans, and ensure a controlled move to production.
- Prepare the service for readiness, including pricing, charge model, governance, and documentation.
Operations and support
- Set up and improve the product support model, including documentation and procedures for first-, second-, and third-line support.
- Oversee supplier management and the quality of managed services delivery.
- Promote product adoption with support from the regional delivery team.
- Track product performance indicators such as incidents, requests, usability, and customer satisfaction.
- Improve the user experience to boost productivity.
- Lead change and release management, including rollout of products and new capabilities.
- Drive marketing, training, and communication efforts and support the business key-user community.
- Ensure the product remains compliant, including access management, technical debt control, and adherence to local rules and regulations.
- Carry out cost analysis and financial control with support from Business Control.
- Implement a productized way of working with guidance from the Architecture & Innovation team.
Location and reporting
You will report to the Group Applications Manager. The role can be based in Brno, Dublin, Shanghai, or Stockholm, and it includes a hybrid working model with a mix of remote and on-site work.
Experience and profile
Applications are encouraged from people with different backgrounds and experience. A strong base in IT applications, especially in a financial environment, and an interest in digital innovation are important for success in this role.
The role calls for substantial experience in supporting and managing IS/IT applications in Treasury or a similar finance domain. You should also have worked with Treasury processes and applications in a large, complex, multi-location organization, and bring solid project management and business analysis capability. Familiarity with IT best practices and ITIL is expected, while ITIL certification is preferred.
Technical knowledge
You should bring strong expertise with Treasury management systems and related infrastructure, including hands-on knowledge of Trax, Quantum, and Multibank. This includes payment processing, approval workflows, fraud controls, FX, loans, deposits, cashflow forecasting, in-house bank settlements, month-end reporting, bank integrations, and bank-channel testing. Experience with SWIFT infrastructure and system administration is also needed, along with managing access rights, compliance, and release/change processes.
Awareness of audit principles such as the four-eyes principle is important, as is the ability to keep systems audit-ready and aligned with internal governance.
