It supports the growth of revenues, audiences, and intellectual property for more than 200 federations, associations, events, and teams, including major global properties such as the NFL, Premier League, IOC, NHL, MLS, ATP and WTA Tours, Wimbledon, Euroleague Basketball, CONMEBOL, DP World Tour, and The R&A, along with UFC, WWE, and PBR. IMG is part of TKO Group Holdings, a premium sports and entertainment business that includes UFC, WWE, and PBR, reaches 1 billion households across 210 countries and territories, and delivers more than 500 live events each year.

Role Overview

This Product Manager position is part of the Data Services function, which supports data-driven applications across global teams spanning Big Data, warehousing, business intelligence, analytics, and data science. The role operates in cross-functional squads with Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and supporting functions such as DevOps, Security, and Architecture.

You will own the product journey end to end, combining strategy with hands-on delivery. The job calls for someone who can set direction, build a roadmap, investigate market needs, and then turn that direction into detailed execution through user stories, backlog prioritisation, and active participation in Agile delivery.

What You Will Do

  • Convert broad business objectives into well-defined user stories, complete with acceptance criteria, process flows, and diagrams where useful.
  • Keep product plans, backlogs, and release schedules aligned with the TKO Data & AI strategy and the required intake and governance process.
  • Own the data catalogue for assigned products and ensure metadata, lineage, and business definitions stay complete, current, and easy to access.
  • Create and communicate a strong product vision and direction that supports team and company priorities.
  • Research the market to spot trends, gaps, and opportunities for innovation.
  • Identify ways to apply AI and emerging technologies to data products and develop use cases that generate measurable business value.
  • Use technical understanding to work closely with engineering teams, including SQL analysis, basic data modelling, and familiarity with data platforms and architecture.
  • Measure product and portfolio performance using KPIs, ROI, and value delivery metrics to support prioritisation and funding decisions.
  • Manage project budgets and available resources in line with financial goals.
  • Participate in Agile routines such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups while working closely with the wider data team.
  • Improve Agile ways of working and help build a feedback-friendly, collaborative team culture.
  • Maintain roadmaps and keep stakeholders and clients informed about progress, changes, and strategic alignment.
  • Serve as the primary contact between clients and the development team, capturing feedback and feeding it into product work.
  • Present product updates and roadmap plans to internal and external stakeholders and gather input for future improvements.
  • Set and manage stakeholder expectations while proactively handling risks and issues that may affect delivery.
  • Produce and maintain product documentation such as user guides, business rules, data models, and release notes.
  • Partner with data architects and engineers to turn business needs into implementable technical features.
  • Carry out data checks and validation, support accuracy and consistency, and assist with UAT when needed.
  • Remain responsible for keeping the data catalogue accurate and up to date for the products you manage.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in Product Management or a similar role.
  • A bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or comparable practical experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage the full product lifecycle, from strategy through delivery.
  • Strong working knowledge of Agile methods, including ceremony leadership and backlog ownership.
  • Excellent skills in stakeholder management and proactive communication.
  • Strong organisational discipline and planning capability.
  • Experience writing clear, actionable user stories and keeping detailed product records.
  • Analytical, inquisitive, and comfortable solving complex problems.
  • Good understanding of data products, including analytics, reporting, data science, and Big Data technologies.
  • Ability to stay effective under pressure while prioritising in a fast-moving environment.
  • Technical fluency to discuss product details confidently with development teams.
  • Willingness to maintain full confidentiality and discretion, including signing and complying with a confidentiality agreement.
  • Availability to work outside standard business hours and on weekends when needed.

Preferred Experience

  • Hands-on use of product management tools such as JIRA or TFS.
  • Exposure to data privacy and security regulations such as GDPR and CCPA, as well as cloud-based delivery.
  • Background knowledge of media, sports, events, or similar industries where TKO operates.

Compensation and Benefits

The hiring range for this role is $93,750 to $125,000 per year. Pay may vary based on location and job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills, and experience. The company offers a locally competitive rewards package that may include base pay, short- and long-term incentives, development opportunities, and benefits such as health coverage, retirement support, vacation, paid time off, and other offerings.
