Role overview

Nexia is looking for a Product Manager to lead the strategy and life-cycle management of laboratory identification and tracking offerings. This portfolio includes slide and cassette printing systems, workflow software, integration tools, and related accessories.

What you'll do

  • Define and own the product direction and full life cycle for laboratory identification and tracking solutions.
  • Shape and execute go-to-market and commercialisation plans across direct sales and channel partners worldwide.
  • Create and keep updated multi-year product roadmaps that stay aligned with business goals and market opportunities.
  • Oversee every phase of the product life cycle, from new launches and feature upgrades to portfolio streamlining and end-of-life planning.
  • Collect market signals, customer input, and industry trends to uncover unmet needs and guide future development.
  • Convert customer and market needs into clear product requirements and business cases.
  • Set pricing approaches, target margins, demand forecasts, and commercial plans that support growth.
  • Lead product validation efforts and evaluate customer satisfaction, ease of use, and launch readiness before release.

Skills and experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in a scientific, life sciences, or closely related technical field.
  • About 5 to 7 years of experience in product management and product marketing, ideally in medical devices, healthcare technology, diagnostics, laboratory solutions, or a similar area.
  • Track record of launching and commercialising medical equipment, software platforms, or integrated healthcare technology products.
  • Exposure to laboratory information system integrations or comparable healthcare software environments.
  • Ability to create technical, scientific, and customer-facing content for launches and commercial campaigns.
  • Strong business and commercial judgement, including pricing, profitability analysis, forecasting, and business planning.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for around 20–25% of the time.
