Job description
About the Role
Netflix’s purpose is to entertain people everywhere, and the company is building the next chapter by blending creativity, intuition, and advanced technology. The Partner Product organization solves complex problems that help hundreds of millions of members access Netflix through strategic partnerships and product integrations.
As a Product Manager for Partner Commerce, you will sit at the intersection of Commerce and Partnerships, owning the vision and roadmap for a strong platform that supports contracts, billing, and payments. You will also collaborate with finance, tax, and accounting teams to create a smooth experience from contract signature through reporting. This role has significant influence on how current and future members worldwide experience Netflix through partners.
The position is preferred in the Los Gatos office in a hybrid setup, though remote candidates based on the West Coast of the US may also be considered. Remote team members should expect occasional travel to Los Gatos.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the planning and delivery of end-to-end commercial products and roadmaps, with a track record of launching meaningful platforms and features.
- Work across technical and non-technical teams, communicating clearly in writing and presenting effectively to diverse stakeholders.
- Build product strategy with a strong business lens and make decisions that create measurable impact.
- Identify opportunities to improve how Netflix scales the commercial side of partner relationships.
- Earn trust and collaborate with leaders across Engineering, Finance, Tax, Legal, Data, and Business Development.
- Apply a solid understanding of corporate accounting and the way B2B2C transactions affect the P&L.
- Use experimentation, data, and a testing mindset to shape new ideas and guide decisions.
- Navigate ambiguity in a fast-moving environment where priorities may shift based on partner needs, strategy, and product direction.
- Bring strong judgment, be open to direct feedback, and value product and design as core parts of a great consumer experience.
Experience & Background
Strong candidates typically bring a mix of product, business, strategy, technology, data, and/or design experience focused on creating outstanding consumer experiences. The role specifically calls for 5+ years of product management experience in related domains.
Compensation & Benefits
The total compensation structure is salary-based, with no bonus component. Employees may choose how much of their pay is taken as salary versus stock options each year. The market range for this role is $440,000 to $725,000 annually.
Netflix offers comprehensive benefits, including health plans, mental health support, a 401(k) retirement plan with employer match, a stock option program, disability coverage, health savings and flexible spending accounts, family-forming benefits, life and serious injury benefits, and paid leave programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days of paid time off per year for vacation, holidays, and sick leave. Full-time salaried employees receive flexible time off immediately.
Inclusion & Hiring Support
Netflix is committed to an inclusive hiring experience and can provide accommodations during the interview process for a disability or another reason. The company is an equal-opportunity employer and values diversity across all backgrounds, including race, religion, color, ancestry, national origin, caste, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, medical condition, pregnancy, genetic makeup, marital status, and military service.
