Role overview

This position is for a seasoned Product Manager who has worked extensively with Learning Management Systems and digital education platforms. The role focuses on shaping product direction, maintaining a clear roadmap, coordinating across teams, and delivering a learning experience that is scalable, effective, and engaging.

The right candidate will combine technical awareness with strong commercial thinking, allowing them to convert business goals into practical product plans and technology solutions. The job also calls for strategic judgment, strong stakeholder coordination, leadership, reporting capability, and the ability to carry product initiatives from early concept through launch.

Product strategy and roadmap ownership

  • Set the overall product direction, roadmap, and feature plan, then drive execution.
  • Keep product decisions aligned with company goals and customer expectations.
  • Spot opportunities for new ideas, platform improvements, and business expansion.
  • Carry out market research, competitor review, and product benchmarking.
  • Build both near-term and long-range product strategy plans.

Product development and execution

  • Collect business needs and convert them into detailed product requirement documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Own the full product journey from idea generation to launch and ongoing enhancement.
  • Work closely with UI/UX designers, engineers, QA, content teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Rank features, enhancements, and defect fixes based on business value and user impact.
  • Run sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release cycles in an Agile setup.
  • Make sure product milestones and project goals are delivered on schedule.
  • Use analytics and user feedback to keep improving the product continuously.

LMS platform management

  • Lead the implementation and optimization of LMS capabilities such as course management, learning paths, assessments and quizzes, certifications, progress monitoring, gamification, user administration, and reporting and analytics.
  • Improve learner participation, course completion, and the overall experience on the platform.
  • Ensure the system remains scalable, easy to use, and operationally efficient.

Team leadership and project coordination

  • Guide cross-functional teams throughout the full product lifecycle.
  • Manage timelines, priorities, deliverables, and interdependencies across workstreams.
  • Track team performance and keep everyone aligned to project goals.
  • Promote collaboration among business, technology, and operations teams.
  • Identify project risks early and put mitigation plans in place.
  • Deliver product initiatives within agreed timelines and budget limits.

Business and stakeholder management

  • Serve as the link between business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Translate business needs into workable product and technology solutions.
  • Contribute to strategic conversations on growth, customer experience, and operational improvement.
  • Partner with leadership to define business priorities and product objectives.
  • Assess business value, return on investment, and feasibility for new initiatives.
  • Support decisions with data-backed insights and recommendations.

Reporting and communication

  • Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly progress updates.
  • Monitor timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and risks for each project.
  • Maintain product documentation and project progress records.
  • Present roadmap changes, sprint results, and feature launches to stakeholders.
  • Track project health and resource allocation.
  • Share insights and suggestions based on platform analytics and user input.
  • Run stakeholder meetings and maintain clear communication across teams.
  • Create executive-level reports covering progress, challenges, and strategic recommendations.

Required experience and skills

  • 3 to 5+ years of product management experience.
  • Hands-on exposure to LMS, EdTech, SaaS, or other digital platform products.
  • Strong working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and product delivery methods.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycles and technology platforms.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to understand business goals and customer needs.
  • Ability to connect business stakeholders with technical teams effectively.
  • Experience working with product, engineering, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience using project tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Trello, or similar systems.
  • Comfort handling multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.

Preferred background

  • Experience with LMS tools such as Moodle, LearnDash, TalentLMS, Thinkific, Kajabi, or comparable platforms.
  • Knowledge of learner engagement, gamification, and online learning best practices.
  • Exposure to analytics, reporting frameworks, and data-led product improvements.
  • Familiarity with APIs, integrations, system architecture, and digital product ecosystems.
  • Previous collaboration with development teams and technology stakeholders.
