About LUXASIA

LUXASIA is a major beauty brand builder in the Asia Pacific region and has been operating since 1986. The company has helped more than 100 luxury beauty brands enter new markets and scale their presence, including Albion, Aveda, Bvlgari, Calvin Klein, Creed, Diptyque, Hermes, La Prairie, Maison Francis Kurkdjian, Montblanc, Paco Rabanne, Salvatore Ferragamo, and SK-II. It has also formed joint ventures with companies such as LVMH Group, Revlon (for Elizabeth Arden), Puig, Shiseido, and Orveon (for Laura Mercier). Its integrated capabilities span luxury retail, e-commerce, consumer marketing and analytics, and supply chain management. The organisation is backed by a varied and energetic team of 2,700 professionals across 15 markets.

About the Role

This opportunity is for a Product Manager Intern within the Data & Analytics function. The role focuses on turning transaction, marketing, traffic, and operational data into insights that support both strategic and day-to-day business decisions. You will work closely with teams across marketing, operations, finance, and technology to convert data into measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and prioritise the product backlog across several active workstreams in partnership with the Director, balancing business value and engineering availability.
  • Convert product ideas into sprint-ready user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria and coverage of edge cases.
  • Monitor progress across concurrent workstreams and proactively raise risks, blockers, and dependencies before they affect delivery.
  • Keep the roadmap current by reflecting priority changes, completed work, and newly identified tasks.
  • Lead discovery discussions and user interviews with teams in finance, commercial, and operations to capture and confirm requirements.
  • Document current workflows, identify pain points, and highlight opportunities to improve efficiency through automation or better tools.
  • Turn business needs into clear product specifications that engineering teams can implement.
  • Review and validate requirements with both technical and non-technical stakeholders before development starts.
  • Support sprint rituals such as planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives to keep the team aligned and on schedule.
  • Coordinate UAT timelines, test-case reviews, and approval/sign-off processes with business stakeholders.
  • Manage communication across teams by sharing regular updates on progress, risks, and upcoming milestones.
  • Help balance competing priorities by escalating situations where too many urgent items are competing for the same engineering capacity.
  • Define and track internal product success metrics such as adoption, usage trends, and business impact.
  • Analyse product usage data to uncover behavioural patterns, drop-offs, and improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain documentation for product decisions, unresolved questions, change logs, and feature details.
  • Identify process inefficiencies within the team and suggest practical improvements.

Requirements

  • Background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Working understanding of Agile and Scrum basics, user story writing, and backlog management tools such as Jira.
  • Comfort with data literacy, including interpreting dashboards and basic SQL outputs.
  • Strong stakeholder communication skills and solid written English.

Benefits

LUXASIA offers a growth-oriented environment where you can build capabilities and realise your potential. You will work with a broad portfolio of luxury brands across Asia Pacific and contribute to experiences that reach millions of consumers. The culture encourages entrepreneurial thinking, with the chance to run work with ownership while still receiving guidance and support. The team values diversity, inclusion, innovation, experimentation, and quick learning, and the role is positioned as part of a fulfilling long-term career journey.
