About Nomia
Nomia is changing how businesses handle tail-spend procurement through an AI-led SaaS platform that brings together advanced technology and practical procurement expertise. The company is focused on making sourcing simpler, improving compliance, and delivering clear measurable value to customers.
Nomia serves a rapidly expanding international customer base and operates with teams in London, Dubai, Singapore, Krakow, Chicago, and India.
Role Overview
This Product Manager position is a specialist role within Nomia’s financial workflows pod. The role centers on the product strategy and roadmap for invoicing and payments, including e-invoicing compliance, invoice lifecycle processes, and integrations with ERP as well as AP/AR systems across international markets.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of finance operations, the regulatory environment surrounding digital invoicing, and the challenges of building compliant, scalable enterprise financial products.
This is an opportunity to influence a product sitting at the crossroads of procurement, finance, and AI in a business that is scaling quickly across several regions.
Key Duties
You will lead the product direction for your pod area, from market analysis and customer discovery through to delivery and post-launch support. The role requires close coordination with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to turn business and user needs into well-defined product work.
Additional Information
This role is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is a hybrid working arrangement with three days in the office each week, and additional office presence may be required during training or when requested by your supervisor.
You are expected to follow Nomia’s data protection and information security policies at all times, support diversity and inclusion in line with company values, and contribute to ongoing improvements in systems and processes. The responsibilities described here are a guide and may change over time as business needs evolve.
Requirements
The position calls for a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Marketing, or another relevant field, along with at least 5 years of experience in digital product management, preferably in SaaS or PaaS environments.
Applicants should understand Agile delivery, the product development lifecycle, UX/UI principles, customer journey mapping, and modern software collaboration practices. A technical foundation or close experience working with engineering teams is important, as is a data-informed approach to product decisions using methods such as A/B testing, focus groups, and user research.
Strong communication, analytical thinking, teamwork, and documentation skills are essential, along with hands-on familiarity with tools such as Confluence, Jira, Figma, and product analytics platforms.
Domain knowledge should include B2B invoicing workflows, invoice creation and approvals, dispute handling, payment reconciliation, e-invoicing standards such as PEPPOL, UBL, Factur-X/ZUGFeRD, and OIOUBL, plus awareness of global compliance frameworks including EU Directive 2014/55/EC, ViDA proposals, KSA ZATCA, Italy SDI, India IRP/IRN, and France PPF/PDP. Experience integrating with AP/AR systems and ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Coupa, and Ariba is also expected, together with an understanding of VAT, GST, and e-reporting obligations across jurisdictions.
Responsibilities
- Own the go-to-market plan and ongoing lifecycle management for the assigned pod domain.
