Job description
Company overview
ForceMetrics is building data analytics and enrichment tools that help public safety and government organizations use information more effectively to create better community outcomes. The company’s goal is to modernize outdated systems and workflows so responders can make stronger, faster decisions that address difficult societal challenges.
Eligibility and compliance requirements
To be considered, you must be a U.S. citizen, currently reside in the United States, be willing to complete an FBI background check, and agree to a drug test.
Role impact
As a Product Manager, you will work closely with customers and field users to identify meaningful problems and guide those ideas through delivery. You will partner across Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, and leadership to shape the roadmap, launch features, and ensure the product creates value for customers and internal teams.
What you will do
- Partner with customers and field teams to uncover high-value problems and carry solutions from concept through launch.
- Define product direction with cross-functional teams and help turn strategy into actionable roadmap priorities.
- Convert customer and stakeholder input into user stories, functional requirements, and clear execution guidance.
- Lead discovery work such as interviews, feedback reviews, and validation sessions to test product assumptions.
- Collaborate with Engineering on delivery plans, timelines, and implementation details.
- Communicate product thinking through wireframes, presentations, and internal documentation.
- Support the evaluation and integration of new data sources and third-party APIs.
- Coordinate go-to-market readiness and launches with internal stakeholders.
- Represent the customer perspective throughout cross-functional product work.
Requirements
The company is looking for someone with 3 to 5 years of Product Management experience in a SaaS environment, preferably in public safety, law enforcement, govtech, or another data-heavy product setting. Alternatively, direct experience as a law enforcement professional, crime analyst, or public safety practitioner who is ready to move into product may also be a fit.
You should be comfortable working with data products, APIs, integrations, or operational data used for decision-making. The ideal candidate has experience in fast-paced startup environments, enjoys contributing on small high-performing teams, and is comfortable taking ownership in ambiguous situations.
You should also bring a track record of conducting research, writing requirements, shipping products, communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences, prioritizing effectively, and working in iterative sprint-based development cycles.
Benefits and compensation
The role offers equity at the seed stage, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, a 401(k), standard holidays, paid time off, and fully remote work. The base salary range is $105,000 to $130,000+, depending on experience.
