Job description

Role Overview

The Operations Excellence group at Cult.fit is responsible for ensuring that every one of the 700+ fitness centers consistently delivers a strong member experience. The team builds the systems that keep frontline operations running smoothly and gives central teams live visibility into what is happening at the center level.

This work sits at the intersection of product, operations, engineering, analytics, and design. The team creates solutions such as IoT-based center monitoring, computer-vision tools that review CCTV feeds to detect experience issues, and workflow automation that helps the organization act before members are affected.

As Product Manager 2, you will lead the operations excellence mandate and translate real-world operational challenges into scalable, user-friendly technology products with measurable business impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the product roadmap for operations excellence, with a focus on tools that support frontline teams and provide leadership with real-time center health insights.
  • Research users deeply across stakeholder groups, from housekeeping staff at a Bengaluru center to senior operations leaders, to understand their workflows, pain points, and expectations of service quality.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and scale IoT and vision-tech capabilities for continuous, automated monitoring of the member experience.
  • Build and improve workflow and automation systems that deliver the right information to the right teams at the right time, reducing manual effort and improving accountability.
  • Turn complex operational needs into simple, intuitive product experiences that can be used quickly in fast-paced frontline environments.
  • Define meaningful metrics for center experience quality, identify early indicators, and use data to assess product choices and prioritize high-impact interventions.
  • Run fast experiments, validate assumptions, and iterate based on feedback from day-to-day operational realities.
  • Work closely with process design teams so that technology changes and operating processes complement one another.

What You Need

  • At least 3 years of product management experience, preferably in consumer or enterprise products where operational complexity and user empathy both matter.
  • A bachelor's or master's degree from a well-regarded institution, with Tier 1 preferred.
  • Strong analytical thinking and comfort working with both quantitative and qualitative inputs to define metrics, select proxies, and generate useful insights.
  • Proven ability to simplify ambiguous, complex problems into clear product direction and actionable roadmaps.
  • Experience working with large, varied stakeholder groups, including non-technical frontline users, and adapting communication and product choices to their needs.

Additional Information

This is a high-visibility role with direct influence on the daily experience of thousands of employees and the workout experience of millions of members. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in an environment where product decisions must respond quickly to ground realities and operational feedback.
