Job description
Position Overview
This role is focused on steering product planning and marketing for emerging Home Appliance products in Singapore. The selected professional will strengthen brand visibility, coordinate a strong 360-degree go-to-market approach, and work with internal and external partners to keep business plans aligned with brand objectives.
Core Responsibilities
- Own execution for the Home Appliance category and manage the product portfolio for this line.
- Shape product roadmap planning and align sales and marketing initiatives with headquarters.
- Translate product strategy into action, launch new initiatives, and help drive market share and business targets.
- Coordinate successful product launches through integrated plans covering PR, media, social media, digital channels, forecasting, events, CRM, sell-out tracking, and point-of-sale display.
- Build a deep understanding of the assigned category by studying market trends and competitive movements.
- Design and roll out promotions that are timely, effective, and aimed at improving sell-out performance.
- Oversee the gift redemption program, including gift forecasting, procurement, and coordination with the redemption center to maintain sufficient inventory.
- Prepare demand forecasts accurately using market patterns and historical sell-out data.
- Secure approvals for sales programs on time and ensure they are correctly documented.
- Track and manage advertising and promotion spending for the Home Appliance business.
- Partner with Trade Marketing, Demand Planning, Customer Service, and Finance to keep daily operations running smoothly.
- Work with Corporate Marketing so ATL/BTL materials, POSM, and launch samples are ready and delivered on schedule for maximum impact.
- Coordinate with trade marketing to ensure retail concepts and in-store activations are planned and executed properly.
- Make sure visual merchandising follows brand standards and that POSM materials are produced in line with promotion timelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is required, with Business Management or Marketing preferred.
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in product management, marketing, or a related business function.
- Comfortable working independently as well as across global and virtual teams.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated strength in sales and marketing execution.
